Hi there,

First thanks for creating such a simple distribution.

I'm trying to configure the system using xfce4 and I noticed I cannot run the Audio Mixer from the icon on xcfe4.  I'm getting: "...GStreamer was unable to detect any sound devices....". I cannot also run alsamixer from the cli without using sudo in front of it. When I log in as a root everything works fine.

I also noticed that the user name it not being shown on xfce4 when I log in with the regular user. This does not happen when running xfce logged as root. DO i have some permission issue with the regular user?

Thanks.

The Xfce4 audio mixer is for me a bit buggy, try to install all the gstreamer-* packages. it might help.

Yes that's somehow a consolekit issue (I think) , to get rid of this, I need to find the topic that's solve the issue, I will come back.
