Installing Printer

I can't get my printer (HP 6600) to work. I see from previous posts that I should use "HP Print Manager," but I don't know what that is. I know that installing via localhost:631 is useless, but what now?

I'm working today on fixing the broken hp Print Manager package, hope I can make it working again for tomorrow.
