I've been exploring JWM for a few days! I'm still configuring it, but here's my NuTyX using JWM!

...using xdgmenumaker to provide a dynamic applications menu.

Beautifull and more when you think it's just JWM as Desktop Environment. This must be very very speedy.

It's very fast...I think I can honestly say that it's the fastest system that I've every personally used. 

I think I've almost finished configuring everything...made some slight color changes, and finally figured out how to make menu entries with sub-menus...man, that took forever to find out how to do it!

EVERYTHING in JWM is configured with one single configuration file. I know one thing...after I finally have it exactly the way I want it, I'm going to protect that file with my life...

What do you think if you publish and we produced an official JWM ISO together with defaults settings as yours ? It's just an idea

Really? I'd be happy to do that! 

I'm out of practice making an .iso though...I haven't tried to build one since the Openbox .iso that I made.    I'll see what I can do, 

I'm still tweaking the system, so it might be a little while before I have every little thing set up.

I'm new to JWM myself...had to do a lot of reading/trial-and-error to get it the way I liked it! 

I'll gladly post my .jwmrc if it's okay with Thierry...I'm not sure though since we're planning on producing an .iso with the configs that I came up with...don't know if we should make it public before the release of the .iso???

I've also made a light theme, so users will be able to use a dark or light theme based on Adwaita or Adwaita-Dark.  I'll post a screenshot later of the light theme.

Yes, with a JWM iso there would be no need to also post a .jwmrc separately.

As I explained elsewhere to Thierry, I do not have much technical knowledge. However, I do understand a little bit what you have been experiencing while configuring JWM. I did that a bit myself when starting to explore linux as an idea for making use of some older, spare computer hardware. (That idea also led me here to NuTyX.)

I look forward to seeing the iso with JWM when you have time to produce it.

Do what's the best for you ( and for NuTyX of course), I guess both would be nice .
