For the record I did try to build my own soundconverter package from https://launchpad.net/soundconverter/trunk/4.0.4/+download/soundconverter-4.0.4.tar.gz based on the documentation. The download worked but it had a hissy fit regarding my NZ locale and refused to go any further. I read a whole heap of forum posts regarding the error and ended up using flatpak :-( . I looked at Musicbrainz and just decided that was going to be too hard for me.

I see the cards system has the MusicBrainz library but I don't see the front end Picard anywhere. I also noted that there isnt a single sound converter such as soundconverter or ciano. Is this something we need to compile ourselves? I obviously can pull via Flatpak but I would rather not.

Just curious to know what others do.

Installing pipewire seem to resolve whatever Bluez was missing to connect audio via Bluetooth.

Hi,

I have been trying to get Bluetooth to connect to an audio device without luck. Connects and disconnects. Bluetooth works for non audio devices without issue. Had a similar issue with Void linux and it was related to Pulse Audio, more specifically permissions. By adding my user to Pulse group in /etc/group it resolved the issue. Problem is, with Nutyx, Pulse audio is installed but I don't see it in /etc/group. Suggestions?

Code: [Select]
MAN: (base) systemd 246-18
AUTO: (base) systemd.lib 246-18
When you see MAN: it means the package is install by the user or by the install-nutyx script.
When you see AUTO: it means it's a mandatory dependency for another package.

After you delete the systemd package (not the systemd.lib), you can check the number files that remains by checking how many files belong to the systemd.lib package:

Code: [Select]
cards files systemd.lib
Obtenir les infos sur les 389 paquets: Obtenir les infos sur les 389 paquets: 100 %
lib/libnss_myhostname.so.2
lib/libnss_mymachines.so.2
lib/libnss_systemd.so.2
lib/libsystemd.so
lib/libsystemd.so.0
lib/libsystemd.so.0.36.0
lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-253.so

Oups sorry about that. Yes you should be able to remove systemd package. Only the systemd.lib is mandatory.

For those running Enlightenment go to settings, settings panel,  input, then mouse (not mouse bindings) then Touchpad. - disable clickpad. For non enlightenment - The fix can be found here https://askubuntu.com/questions/1271281/dell-precision-7550-physical-mouse-buttons-behaving-like-clickpad

Sorry to be so late coming back but I needed to work on another project and have only just got back. Decided also to reinstall the latest release on a wiped drive (Dell OptiPlex). The result was the same. This is the text from the window that arrives when trying to launch the widget.

file:///home/glyn/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.weatherWidget-2/contents/ui/main.qml:120:5: Type OpenWeatherMap unavailable

Sorry, forum was down for a bit and then I was away. Yes xorg-xf86-input-synaptics is installed. Mouse seems to work perfectly fine for everything except bottom mouse buttons. The same laptop running Arch or Solux works ok with these buttons.
