Title: Failed instalation on Pentium3 notebook
Post by: lilianfornea on Thu Jul 27 18:01:22 2017
Hi. I was rely dissapointed that I can't install NuTyX i686 on my ancient HP Omnibook 6100 (i686) notebook, because I was really impressed by it on vbox machine. During the boot of instalation process often errors appears but that's nothing comparing with Kernel Panic at last. 256 mb ram and 930 Mhz proc could be reason of fail?

Stop pentium3, i advise PIV minimum. I have installed gnome3 - i686 on my PIV. My configuration is PIV - 3GHZ - 2ghz RAM. gnome3 works very well. Under PIV, this is not reasonable.  :)
And NuTyX is not intended to be used on configurations old. The only solution should begin to use an older kernel with an light desktop if you wants to use it under PIV.  :P
Good luck
