I have an issue with System sounds not working. Using Firefox i can hear you tube etc, I can even play the system sounds through firefox, But assigning a sound "lets say hexchat notification of message" no sound. If you select sound preferences testing the sound wont play anything, I know the sound works as paplay can also play the system sound, Dose anyone else notice this.
FYI I also have arch mate installed and that dose play the sounds as expected
