Hello
I tried to do a cards sync on the terminal but it failed. This is the sequence of process:

ferran [ ~ ]$ sudo su
root [ /home/ferran ]# cards sync
[ / ] Timeout was reached
cards 2.6.3 sync:

URL   : http://downloads.nutyx.org/x86_64/rolling/desktops/.PKGREPO
FILE  : /var/lib/pkg/depot/desktops/.PKGREPO
MD5SUM:

!!! download failed !!!

root [ /home/ferran ]#

I edited the file /etc/cards.conf adding the line

dir /var/lib/pkg/depot/desktops

Also I changed the group ca (catalan), fr (french) and es (spanish) too. Anything works.

I don't know what can i do more to fix it. Thank you in advance.

Hello Ferran
Welcome to the NuTyX forum.

It's the download.nutyx.org server in fault. We try to fix it asap.

PS: remove the change you did in cards.conf otherwise it won't work anymore when service is back

Thanks to report it

Thierry

Thanks for ask as fast.

OK suddently I'm going to restore the /etc/cards.conf like it was before.

For the rest i'm very happy with this distro and your attention.

Today I installed the latest KDE version from Sourceforge and get this same error. Is the server down again?

Hello Primesuspect
Welcome to the NuTyX forum.

It's up since 9AM Paris time. Give sometimes to DNS to propagate. Will soon be ok for you I hope. Let me knows

Thank you for responding. I need to swap the machines over now which I can't do until tomorrow but then I'll check and let you know the result.
